Goals for 2013

As apposed to New Year Resolutions, which never last, I am going to set some goals for 2013.

I want to become proficient in Drupal, an open source software that allows people to update the content of their web sites.  Along with this goal is having a better understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript.  My kids Christmas gifts will help me with this goal.  Thanks, guys!

I would like to attend three quilt retreats and complete at least four quilts as well as several more smaller projects.  (All work and no play makes me sad.)

I want to pay off our home and start contributing our monthly house payment to increase our retirement funds.

I plan to continue with Weight Watchers.  I have lost 34 pounds in 2012 and plan to lose at least 50 pounds in 2013.  Included with this goal is a sustained exercise routine.  The exercise is usually my downfall.  This also means more cooking at home and less eating out.

I want to spend more time with my family.  I already have two trips planned.  The first to spend time with my Mom, brother, and sister-in-law.  The second to visit my sister and brother-in-law.  My husband also forfeited two weeks of vacation this year.  I want to make sure he gets to enjoy those vacation days he has earned.

These are my big goals for this year.  I hope making my goals more public will help me be more accountable to them.

Hope everyone has a blessed 2013!
