January Update on Goals for 2013

It is the last day of January.  Time to look at those goals I set for myself in December.

I have continued to learn Drupal, so I can put a check mark on that goal.  Not that I have completed it, but continues to be a work in progress.

I am down 38 pounds.  My friend, Susi and I have been exercising together twice a week since the first of the year.  I just need to get motivated enough to exercise the days we aren't together.  I went for my well woman check up today and got a big "Keep up the good work" from my doctor.  She was very excited about my progress and encouraged me to continue.  In keeping with staying motivated, I started attending Weight Watcher meetings yesterday.  Previously, I had used their on line tools.  Now I have the best of both worlds.

We continue to stay on track for paying off our home this year.

I attended one sewing retreat this month.  While I made progress on several projects, I didn't complete any.  Right now, I am almost finished with the Jungle Babies quilt.  I will post a picture when I finish it.  Next, I will continue on the French Braid.  I am schedule to attend another quilt retreat in February.  I always enjoy spending time with this lovely group of ladies and in such warm comfortable surroundings.

I can truly say that my "New Year's Resolutions" have not made it to the end of January in past years.  I think there is something to this "Goal Setting" thing.
